Tatin Editions is a London-based art project rethinking the traditional picnic, establishing a mobile third space that sits at the intersection of private and public, routine and unconventional. With a focus on aesthetics, quality food, and the value of everyday encounters, our events are shaped by the disruptive ethos of past cultural movements, reinterpreted for a contemporary audience.

Each month, we select up to 12 participants for a discreet gathering at a rotating, undisclosed location. There’s no need to bring anything - no baskets, no soggy supermarket olives, and definitely no standard-issue picnic fare. Guests are invited to experience a curated tasting menu.

Tatin Editions was created by North London residents and friends Holly Jolley and Olivia Zorn out of a love for beauty, food, and art, almost to the point of inconvenience. Connecting their shared vision of a city grounded in tangible experiences, their backgrounds span design, art direction, photography, software development, and a deep reverence for great food.

Tatin Editions is all things at once: a small republic adrift in the Atlantic, a 1970s tech corporation with questionable HR practices, a ‘90s publishing house buoyed by nepotism, a political party whose only real agenda is style (possibly guerrilla-funded).

HOW IT WORKS

Each edition is strictly limited to 12 seats. Attendees enjoy a set menu featuring four courses, sides, and drinks—each menu thoughtfully designed around seasonal ingredients and artistic inspiration, pushing the picnic format well beyond its conventional limits.

Participation is simple: apply individually or with up to two friends by completing our brief onboarding form.

Once we’ve secured your application details and confirmed payment, you’ll receive an email with all the specifics (including the location).
