ABOUT
Tatin Editions is a London-based art project disguised as a picnic. At our spontaneous, performative events, we reimagine the act of eating together as a living artwork and create a mobile third space that sits at the intersection of private and public, routine and unconventional.
Rooted in the disruptive ethos of past cultural movements and drawing from familiar clichés of British idyll, each gathering is an ephemeral composition - part meal, part performance, part social sculpture. Here, the act of eating together becomes both subject and medium.
At our impromptu picnics, we appear in unexpected places across the city. Anyone passing by is welcome to sit down with us. Together we attempt to reclaim the city as a landscape of connection and leisure, rather than a corridor of advertising and consumption moving people between work and home.
Founded by Holly Jolley and Olivia Zorn, both North London-based artists and collaborators, Tatin Editions grew out of a shared love of art, food, and beauty - almost to the point of inconvenience. With backgrounds spanning design, art direction, photography, and consultancy, their practice explores how artistic experience can emerge in everyday spaces and within the relationships formed there.

Tatin Editions is all things at once: a small republic adrift in the Atlantic, a 1970s tech corporation with questionable HR practices, a ‘90s publishing house buoyed by nepotism, a political party whose only real agenda is style (possibly guerrilla-funded).
Let lawmakers legislate. Tatin Editions will handle the picnics.
